William Doherty - Principal
The driving force behind Green Design is William Doherty, founder and president. With his 20+ years of hands-on creative design experience, William serves as our Creative Director and is the key interface for each of our clients. He directs and guides the conceptual development of all client programs, working closely with Green's web designers, graphic artists and writers in turning our clients' desires and goals into marketing solutions that work.
For the past several years, William has worked on a variety of cross-marketing and branding initiatives, helping organizations such as Hewlett-Packard, Cognos, Polaroid Eyewear, Philips Medical, Pearson Custom Publishing, Enterprise Bank, Fred C. Church Insurance, Lawrence Pumps, NewRiver and others create successful and sustainable international corporate and product awareness.
Before starting Green Design, William founded Red Brick Design in 1997. This award-winning agency grew to a staff of more than 25. As the agency's Creative Director, he enabled clients such as Kronos, Avid Sports, GasNetworks, Clean Harbors, Scudder, Fred C. Church Insurance, Boston Probes, GenRad, NetSilicon, Polaroid, Microsoft, Grand Circle Travel, Lotus, Shaw's, Compaq, Wakefield Distribution and Pearson Education to create solid online and offline media awareness.
Prior to Red Brick, William worked for several prestigious firms in the Boston area on projects or such brands as IBM, Amoco, Motorola, Disney, AAFES, Levis, Kodak, GM, BMW, Liberty Financial, Sun Microsystems and Raytheon. Over the years, William has earned the trust of corporate managers, private investors and venture capitalists alike - helping to create solid brands for their companies whether they be new start-up companies or established ones in need of revitalization.
A 1987 graduate of New England School of Art & Design at Suffolk University, William has been recognized many times for his achievements in both marketing and design. William is an active member of the Design Management Institute, Massachusetts Innovation & Technology Exchange, The Ad Club and the American Marketing Association.
Logan Seale - Rich Media
Logan Seale has nearly 20 years of experience. During his career, he has worked for a number of Fortune 100 clients, including American Express, American Airlines, AT&T, and Fidelity Investments. Logan also has over a dozen years of experience working with Photoshop, along with other software programs used in print graphics and Web production. He is also proficient in Flash, Adobe After Effects, QuickTime, Final Cut Pro, and Video Optimization for the Web. Logan's background extends to commercial photography, video production and motion graphics. Over the years, he has won numerous awards for work his work on behalf of Fidelity Investments, CVS Pharmacy and the Horace Mann School in New York City.
Eric Rasmussen - Internet
For the past 8 years, Eric has created and delivered successful, affordable web solutions for businesses and organizations both large and small. He offers a complete line of services which address any or all phases of a web site project including planning, marketing and branding strategies, information architecture, user interface design, Flash design and development, multimedia, client-side and server-side programming, database design and integration, search engine optimization, and site production and implementation. He has created a wide range of innovative web site and web application solutions, ranging from e-commerce and content management systems on multiple platforms to cutting-edge, multimedia interactive Flash sites, applications and online games. His long and varied client list includes North Shore Medical Center (NSMC), Polaroid Corporation, Checkpoint Systems, Beverage Media Group, Partners Healthcare, and many others.
Paul Rodhe - Copywriting
Paul Rodhe has been creating and writing advertising copy for over twenty years. During his career he has held senior writing positions at some of the area's more notable advertising agencies, including Arnold & Co., HBM/CREAMER, Duffy & Shanley, and McDougall Associates. He also held the title of Creative Director at McGlinchey & Paul (now known as Lois Paul & Partners), a PR and advertising agency working exclusively with high technology companies. In addition to his experience in high technology, Rodhe has an extensive background in a number of other industries such as Banking and Finance, Health Care, Business-to-Business, Retail, Publishing, Food Service, Education, and Hospitality. Over the years, his peers have recognized his creative talents. Rodhe has been the recipient of numerous awards for creative excellence, including Hatch, Print Magazine, John Caples, Andy, and the Best of Show Award at the Rhode Island Supershow. Rodhe holds a B.A. in English and Art from UMass, Boston. He has also successfully completed industry-related courses in direct marketing, creative concepting, and presenting.
Cindy Foster - Market Research
Cindy audits client and competitor brand identity systems to assess the brand image each conveys and the tone and strength of their websites and collateral. She participates in the development of marketing strategies and communications plans based on opportunities revealed by the research. Goals are broken down to specific tactical projects then scheduled and budgeted based on client needs and priorities. Cindy generates cost tracking reports on a regular basis to ensure projects remain on-schedule and within budget.
Cindy's nearly 20 years of business experience originated as a marketing manager for Raytheon, where she planned and managed budgets ranging in size of $5,000 to $150,000. She's since directed marketing research and planning projects for Boston Chowda, Clean Harbors, Taxware, HarvardNet, West Coast Distributing and Boston Probes. Cindy graduated summa cum laude with a BSBA in Finance from Northeastern University.
